Exciting news! For the seventh consecutive year Topps is producing a special retro set for The National Convention.  We have again arranged to purchase a small quantity of these popular cards - they have been produced in the style of the coveted 1961 high number All Stars and will be sequentially numbered as a continuation of the original set.  The 5 card set includes a special combination card of the �M & M Boys� - Mickey Mantle and Roger Maris.  In addition to the combo card an individual card of Yankee Hall of Famer Mickey Mantle is in the set.  Also included are Jackie Robinson, Lou Gehrig and rounding out the set is President John F. Kennedy, an avid Red Sox fan.  President Kennedy attended games as often as he could and threw out the first pitch at Griffith Stadium several times.  1961 was a magical year in baseball with the 1961 Home Run chase (and Roger Maris eventually breaking the record).

We expect unusually high demand for this set � only 3000 sets are to be made and limited only to VIP ticket holders at the convention.

We are pleased to announce that we have just purchased the  collection of long-time collector, Barry Korngiebel. This is one of the West's great collections, featuring  dozens of complete high grade  baseball, football and non-sports sets.  It's quite a collection, one that was pursued by almost every major auction  company, all viewing the California collection  in the past 6-7 months. The condition is  stellar   ex-mint and near mint (Mr. Korngiebel says there are NO creases in the entire collection)..... and we welcome the chance to offer it to the hobby.

We are in the process of reviewing and analyzing the material now and expect to have it ready for sale in the coming couple of weeks.  We expect to offer these sets, and some isolated single cards and graded cards, in special sales and auctions during the spring.
